As I begin todays reading, I’m finding my fingers on my right-hand itching like crazy. When I think of the body and its many ways of speaking, I always like to tune into that space and see if there is a message that wants to be shared.
It has a, “It’s right on the tip of my tongue” type of feeling! Maybe there is something the fingers want to “say” and it’s just right there… right on the tip. Very interesting, indeed. This reading must be important, you know.
3 of wands
The 3 of wands card came out, second actually, though I felt to tune into it first. Cast in purple and pink hues from what I feel is either the sun coming up or down. The sky is more purple, and the water below is more of the pink tone. You can see a white strand of a wave ripple. A woman stands at the edge of what appears to be a orange grassy cliff area, though it doesn’t look very high up if it is a cliff. One foot is planted in the ground, the other foot is bent as if she is going to take a step forward. Very similiar energy to the fool’s card. She is tan and has white tribal markings around the legs. She also has white dots running up her back, as well as a circle pattern of the white dots on her arm. Her hair is almost white and is whipping in the wind. Held by one arm and placed upon her back is a tan surfboard. She looks out towards the water, as if she is waiting for something. Possibly a wave, right? Waiting for the right moment to jump in. Around her in this space, are 3 torches to represent the 3 of wands. One is to her left, that is just a few inches shorter than her. Another to her right that is taller than she is, and a shorter one beside that. It is very short in comparison to the other two.
What is being shown to you?
The shorter torch makes me feel like the symbolism here can show that she can’t see completely. Ah, I just noticed too, there are stars out in that purple sky. This could show that the day is over, but she wanted more. She wanted one more really good wave to come in before the day is through. With her foot up, it is like she wants to go again. There is a feeling present of not missing her chance.
I also get the feeling that she could be waiting for something other than a wave… just waiting. It’s as though she is asking herself too, “What are you waiting for?” There’s a curiosity that swirls in the card- a wanting to know.
I can feel it in the air
This is her space, her comfort place, she knows it very well. Though something in air has changed. I literally hear that song coming through, “I can feel it coming in the air, oh lord. I’ve been waiting for this moment for all my lifeee….” Something within her has changed and she can feel it. Is this the last time she will dance with the waves. As night falls, will her curiosity of what’s out there, beyond her comfort zone, call out to her. Will she answer that call?
I want to add too, before I move on to the next card, this woman in the card has a wild feel to her. It makes me wonder if the waiting and curiosity is also a longing. This place is all she’s ever known, and it just seems there is an unknown space she wants to dive into.
Create Waves as you Go
I can see this card coming out for someone that wants to move outside of their comfort zone or from what they’ve always known and explore unknown territory. This could range from smaller things, just doing things differently or bigger moves that take you on a new adventure. The notion here is to push past fears and doubts of that unknown and answer the call. You feel it in your bones, and you are right there on the cliffside ready to jump in. I guess the only question is- Which direction are you headed in?
It is quite possible that you don’t have to wait on the “wave”. Just maybe… you create waves as you go!
Death
The first card that flew out, and holds big big energy, is the death card. As I focused in on this card, looking at it, to see where I wanted to begin to describe it to you at. I heard, “this is about the change in actions for a desired effect that you will take”.
It is true, the death card can bring about extreme changes in ones life. A cycle of rebirth, one thing ends, a new begins, and with that comes change.
This card has a masculine feel to it right off. There is a “being” with no face wrapped in a red cloak coming over the space of the head. Inside the cloak where the face would be, is a scene of nature. A silhouette of 3 trees and a background of a blue night’s sky with a bright shining star streaming light outward. There are dots all over the card that looks like they are stars. Above the being’s head, are swirls of color- green in the top corner, yellow to the left, and pink to the right with many stars in it. There is a brown mark that swirls through all the colors. It looks to me like the tip of a paintbrush. I got to say it carries a question of, “What are you going to create?” with it.
Soul Calling
Here is what is also coming through for me. Life is about death. It really is that simple. We “die” a thousand times in one lifetime. Without the cycle of life, death, rebirth we wouldn’t… couldn’t grow. Isn’t that the purpose in being here. To learn and grow. Our soul yearns for that, because it knows that is our higher calling.
If you are just sitting still… or standing on the edge of the water waiting to jump in… you simply are not doing what you came here to do. You may have needed a moment to get comfortable, to steady yourself on solid ground, to make a choice on your next adventure, and that’s okay. Yet, the message for the day is- It is time to begin the rebirth process.
Reflection
You don’t even realize you are in the midst of a cycle here. You have already “died”. You have been in the waiting space, ready to rebirth when you choose. What do you want to experience next? How do you want to feel? What would you like to learn to help the soul grow? This is big energy, a turning point in your life. Get ready… the next great wave is rolling in… are you going to ride it?
